can we use lookup function in powerpoint with different slides

Can you explain what you're after in more detail? Thanks!

Here is what i am looking for:
Is there a vlook function or similar to that in MS-Power Point?

What I am trying to do is create multiple slides with multiple charts
and with few replcation charts. So if I can have the vlookup functionality,
I can change the values once and get the charts done easily. Can you help me
on this?

Thanks

Hi Steve, How are you doing

i got a little idea from this link. but i want some what more how to embed a
link from one excel to another excel in a PPT

Describe what you're after in more detail, if you would.
"embed a link" doesn't make sense to me; Excel content is either embedded or
linked but not both.

I'm guessing it's like so:

On one of the slides in your PPT file you have an embedded Excel object.
You want to link information from another Excel object into the first Excel
object. For example so that the text in Cell A1 changes on the slide when you
change the text in a different spreadsheet.

I think you can do this if the second spreadsheet is external, but I don't see
any way you could link from one embedded spreadsheet in a PPT to another in the
PPT.
