Powerpoint Xp crashes after clicking on slide

I have a powerpoint file that all other users in the office can open. When
the troubled user opens the file it displays the thumbnail view but when you
click on any slide PPT crashes and the machine needs to be rebooted in order
to close it. The presentation works fine while in XP safe mode. Thanks for
the help.

This normally points to the need to update the 'graphics card drivers' on
the users machine.
