Powerpoint Viewer Timings

Hi all,

I have developed a presentation in Powerpoint 2003. I have used liked
narration, animation and linked multi-slide mp3 files as a music bed. The
finished product works well when I run it from Powerpoint but has animation
and music clip problems when I run it from PPViewer 2003. Why should there
be a difference and more importantly how can I get the view to behave?

Synchronization and performance can be an issue. Maybe the following will help
to explain what's going on. You don't mention whether you're running everything
over a network or from a CD, but that can certainly contribute. See

Thank you for your response Sonia. The presentation is on my local hard
drive. What is most irksome is the difference between Powerpoint and the
viewer. The advertised compatability seems to carry a strong "it depends".

Does anyone know of another, truly compatible viewer?
