Powerpoint Video Link Refresh

I have created a powerpoint presentation with video clips (avi
files)inserted so the video runs from powerpoint. I now need to move
the presentation file to other computers. Is there a way to refresh the
links to the avi files now that the path to the linked avi files will
change? The only way I can figure to do it is to re-insert the clips
for each slide containing them, a tedious process. The avi files are
also very large, so "Packaging for CD" is problem.

When linking video files in a PPT, alway store the PPT and video files in
single folder. That way, you can move the folder instead of individual files,
and eliminate the need to re-insert.

Our free FixLinks demo will help you work out whether you need to worry about
it. If the links were correctly inserted, they won't include a full path, just
the file name, and won't break when you move the files and AVIs to another
folder. It'll also help you locate any movies with problem links.

The full version will help fix the links automatically.
