Will the new version of PowerPoint (2007) support more functionality in VBA
out of the box such as Events such as PresentationOpen without having to use
some add-in etc.

It seems that PowerPoint is Microsofts most underdeveloped and neglected
office product but our company uses it as much as Excel and Word. Anyone
know what the new functionality will be. PP has not had any REAL upgrades in
several versions anything new in this one.

Since Office 2007 is still in beta testing, anybody who has it is not allowed to
say anything about it other than what MS has already publically released.

I've been following some of it off and on and don't recall having seen much about
VBA at all, much less announcements of new VBA features. May have missed
something though, so take that with a grain of salt and a dose of google.
