PowerPoint recolor picture function

In previous versions of PowerPoint (specifically, 2003), it was possible to
recolor imported pictures. The recolor function would bring up a box with
each individual color from the picture, and an option to change that color to
something different from the PowerPoint color palette. This was a very
useful function. In PowerPoint 2007 this was replaced with a significantly
less useful recolor function, which effectively only allows you to change
coloring to different Microsoft picture formats. Bring back the
functionality from PowerPoint 2003!

Hi,

I think you are thinking of vector art that could be recolored by color. I
agree- it was handy.
