Powerpoint slides not showing word tables in slides

I made a CD of a presentation containing pictures and word
tables, using Powerpoint 97 on an NT system. Here at work,
I have no problems seeing everything(worked on several
computers) but a MAC and another off site computer do not
show the slides containing the tables. Should they
download the Powerpoint viewer or are there settings they
can change or updates they need in order to run the
presentation.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thank you

I wouldn't have them download or change anything just yet.

Do they need to edit the presentation or just view it? If the latter, save
a new copy of the presentation, then for each table:

Select it
Ungroup it
Immediately regroup it

Once you've done that to each table, save again then try it on the Mac to
see if it works better.

Thank you for your reply. Problem turned out to be with
the JPG's. I finally got on a computer it would not work
on myself and found the problem started with a 6 meg JPG.
I resaved all the large JPG's as smaller files (<500k vs
1.5+ meg) and replaced all the slides with the new
pictures and everything works now on all problem
computers.By putting the smaller file pictures in it, the
presentation went from about 5.5 meg to 13 meg so the
original presentation must have been reporting file
sizes wrong and causing the error on certain computers.

Thanks again.
