Powerpoint needs a more comprehensive animation timeline.

When doing complex animations within PowerPoint, where new objects appear and
start based on the ending positions of other objects, the current timeline is
very difficult to use.

Having an animation timeline with a user-moveable (drag-able) playhead would
be nice, so you can see exactly how a slide will look at the end of a
particular animation and more easily make later animations interact with
earlier ones.

That's a good idea.

I guess Microsoft have to balance the ease of use vs function.
