convert custom animation to GIF-animation

Is there any method that will enable a powerpoint custom animation slide to
be converted into a GIF animation? The main reason being that the GIF
animation could re-embedded and resized into another powerpoint slide without
reconstructing the entire animation.

No need to convert it to a Gif. You can insert the existing presentation
into your new presentation and it will have all the animations.

This is not possible in PowerPoint. But:
- you can record the animation with Camtasia Studio, www.techsmith.com, and
produce it as an animated GIF
- you can copy the animated object (or the whole slide) into another
presentation, the animation will be copied, too.
I would prefer the latter method because of its flexibility.

Best regards,
Ute
