I have inserted a moving background into my PPT with no problems. It plays
back fine on the computer, but when I run it through the LCD projector, I am
getting about a 30 second delay before the image appears. Any suggestions??

Hi from up on the hill on the other side of the river.

It may be that the image is too large and takes time to prepare for display
(PPT would, I think, have to do this twice if your projector is set up as a
second screen rather than mirroring the main computer screen).

Try using mirrored rather than separate screen mode.

Check here for more about that:

Or try resampling the image smaller and inserting the smaller version in PPT in
place of the larger original.
