Thank you for your thoughts; we discovered the answer this morning, it was
as
follows: In Powerpoint go to "Slide Show", "Set Up Show", you will find
at
the bottom "Slide Show Resolution" ours had been set to "800 x 600". For
what ever reason that was causing our projector to 'unblank' and our
screen
in SongShow Plus to place itself in the lower right hand corner;
overridding
it's presets. The solution was to set this to [Use Current Resolution];
problem solved.

Is the "blanking" just the equivalent of hitting the B key (which turns a
screen black)? If so, what you're seeing is the same way it works without
the projector. You need to temporarily turn off the bulb on the
projector.
You might check with the remote people and see if there's a way to do
what
you want. You might also check with the projector people.
Worse comes to worst, put a piece of cardboard or something in front of
the
light on the projector while you switch programs. Or have Songshow Plus
opened in the background and use Alt+Tab after you blank the slide to
move
to it. That would be not quite as intrusive as what you're experiencing
now.
