Powerpoint freezes on 2nd monitor when not active program

Hi.

We have just started using Powerpoint as an electronic bulletin board in our
shop. My computer has a second monitor attached and operating as an extension
of the desktop. I can play the powerpoint show on it fine, however when I am
using other programs on my computer, and PP is not longer the 'active'
application, the PP show on the second monitor freezes until I manually make
it the active application again.

How can I get around this? I need the PP show to run continuiously
regardless of what other use the computer is being used for.

Oh, I am using Powerpoint 2007.

Any ideas?
