Presentation freezes on 2nd monitor when using 1st.

I am trying to play presentations on a second monitor, however when I try to
run any program on my first monitor, the powerpoint presentation freezes
until I close the program on the first monitor. I would like to have the
presentations playing continuously on the second monitor (in a waiting room)
while my front desk is using the first monitor for business purposes.

Wow, I'm glad it is something so simple. I just have to throw money at
it!!!!! I am in the process of getting this software as I write this. Thank
