PowerPoint Animation Speed

Instead of setting the animation speed in seconds (time), I want to set the
speed in distance such as moving one inch every minute; is this possible?

That's the answer I was hoping to not get; I searched for an add-in that
would work but haven't had any success. Thanks.
 
But you could do a little math and figure it out pretty easily.

All you need to know is the projected screen size, the computer's idea of
the slide dimensions and the distance of the animation in order to figure
out how far/fast to go. How were you at High School Algebra?
