Powerpoint animation - making one word in a sentence go bold - help!

Hello everyone!

I'm making a presentation and I want to make just one or two words in a
sentence turn bold when I click the mouse.

e.g. the original sentence will say: "the cat sat on the mat", I then
click the mouse and it says "the cat sat on the *mat*".

I can only work out how to make the whole sentence as opposed to only a
word within the sentence go bold/change colour or whatever.
Does anyone know if I can do this?

Thank you so much!
Sarah

Make a separate textbox where you have the word "mat" bolded. Then, just add
the appear or fade entrance effect. Lastly, place it over the original
sentence. That will solve the problem.

Here's a better way, the previous one works also though.
Make a separate textbox, but don't bold it. Place it over the original
sentence and add bold/change color effect.
