When I export a PPT to HTM I get all the files(?) in a new folder. But the
HTM files are not sequenced numerically like the slides in the slide show.
Can someone clarify what I'm doing wrong?

Your not doing anything wrong. That is by design. when you view your htm/html
presentation it will look just like the original PowerPoint presentation.

That depends on the exact complaint. If you mean that that the various files
aren't numbered xxx001, xxx002 and so on, then that's just the way PPT works.
You're not doing anything wrong, nor will it harm the way the presentation
behaves in any way.

The numbers it assigns correspond to the SlideID of each slide rather than the
Index. SlideID starts at 255 or 256, I forget which, and goes up from there.
PPT assigns and maintains these numbers; users can't control them.

And generally don't need to for any reason I know of.

Make sense?
