I have created a game type thing in powerpoint for my school so the children
can answer questions, the only problem i sthey can A) Advance slide using the
scroll wheel B) right ckick with the sam effect and c) have access to the
little menu in the bottom left of the screen ehich also has same effect. Is
there a way by coding or otherwise to get rid of these options. I know you
can do it in the menu options but it has to be done per machine so can this
be automated. Theres not much point of a quiz if they can cheat really is
there?

Go to slide sorter view and turn OFF "advance on click" and "advance
automatically". The only condition is that you MUST provide some sort of
navigation button on your slide. (Correct answer moves to next slide?)

I hope you see this reply the others are all repeats for some reason.

I have did what you have said and it still just works like before on another
machine it shows all the pop ups that shouldnt be there and also kids can use
space bar as well. i am annoyd to sa the least that i cant figure this out.
there must be a way say in vb or something ro do this

You probably want Kiosk mode. Go to the Slide Show menu and choose Set Up
Show and check Browsed at a Kiosk. This also requires all navigation to
be done with buttons and hyperlinks. Additionally, this is a setting that
goes with the presentation, so it does not need to be installed on every
machine.
