Powerpoint '04 - compress large slide show files

I have a 50 slide presentation, complete with soundtrack, narration,
soundeffects. I want to create a self-running movie. How do I do this without
creating a huge file? '04 does not have a compress picture feature. Should I
use QuickTime? I'm on a Mac G5. Any help is appreciated.

Movie files are very large. The more quality you want the bigger the file
gets.

The compress picture feature will not help with movies.
Should I use QuickTime? I'm on a Mac G5.

On your version of powerpoint, on the File menu, is there a "save to movie"
or "save to quicktime" option ?
