PowerColor 9200 128 meg Question

I am thinking of getting a PowerColor 9200 128 Meg Videocard. They have them
on Googlegear for $79 bucks and free second day shipping.

The thing is I thought the 9200 was a DirectX9 card. But according to
Googlegear it is on a DirectX 8.1 card. I could have swore someone in this
group said the 9200 was Direct X9. I even thought I read that on certian
websites. Is the 9200 DirectX 8.1 or 9?
 
ATI 8500, 8500LE, 9000, 9100 and 9200 are Direct X 8.1
9500 or higher are Direct X 9.0
