Power schemes

I have a notebook computer and have been trying to create my own Power
Scheme in (Power Options Properties/Power schemes). When I try to save it,
I get this: "Indicates two revision levels are incompatible." What does
this mean? And how do I save a power scheme of my own making?

Thanks.

Your trying to name the power scheme and that name already exists as another
saved power scheme. Pick another name or delete the other power scheme with
that name.

Thanks for replying, Ronnie.

I've looked over the reference you've cited. It doesn't quite cover what's
going on. Let me further explain.

I'll pull up the Portable/Laptop scheme, change it, save it as
ePortable/Laptop, click Apply, and click OK. When I go back into Power
schemes, ePortable/Laptop is no longer there. Instead the selected scheme
is Super Power Saver.

How do I save ePortable/Laptop and have it stick?

What settings are you using for that scheme? Post back with the
configuration you are trying to use.
