power schemes problem?

Hi,

I have a problem here. When I go to control panel > power options, I
couldn't set any power schemes, there is nothing inside the box! And I
can't highlight the time setting below. I also tried it in display>screen
saver>power, same thing, the power schemes is blank. Any suggestions?

Hi David,

Start > Run type in cmd and click OK.

In the DOS Command box, type sfc /scannow and hit enter. Insert your
Windows XP CD in the CD for this to work. This will restore Windows System
Files.
