I downloaded a .pps file from my outlook express as that is usually the only
way I get to view. I was able to view them but now I am not able to as well I
can not seem to delete them either. Would like to know how I am able to
delete them for my computer.

I have Windows XP home Microsoft power point viewer 2003

thanks

if you have files that won't let you delete them download http://killbox.net/
this small programme can delete anything I would also recommend
updating your anti virus and running a system scan since you got this
file from an email.

Flamer.

Did you download/save the attachment to the hard drive? And what's the exact error message when you try to delete the file?

When I try to open it it states " Power Point Viewer is unable to Open" When
I try to delete it states it is Access is denied it is Write protected and
make sure file is not in use.

Nadia,

Reboot once and try deleting the file again. If that does not help, see the following link for other recommendations:

Thanks for the info. I Re-booted in safe mode tried to delete the files did
not work than I viewed the properties on each file and changed the access
from deny to accept and everything was fine but this has happened twice
before could my PC be infected i do run Norton.
