Hello,Using XP
Downloaded Power Point from MS page..ppviewer .exe icon is on the desk
top...But will not open the .pps program in question..This extension is
listed under the registered file types in folder options so it should
open..Can I be missing something??

Tried both 2003 and 2000 version...What to do..

Once you downloaded it, did you run it to install it?
PS I'd suggest don't install a program on your desktop. Download it
there, but install in 'C:\program files\whatever' folder.

Did you install the viewer after downloading the setup file?

Double-click the PPViewer.exe program file on your hard disk to start the
setup program. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the
installation.

Thank you..I worked it out as your email suggests by going to the control
folder thereby typing in "open" and inputting the C:\ address
