Power Point won't open

Help Is Needed

I have saved a power point presentation by right clicking then save as into
my desktop under the folder I want under power point. When I click on open I
get a message that says it can not open under powerpoint. I spoke with the
office that sent it and they said this has not been the case with others. I
have office. Please see if you can advise. Thanks.
