Power Point templates

I have a user who is creating slides based on a template which includes a
logo and a strip of white space accross the top, which can be used as a
header. When he opens a new slide in the Normal view, the logo and header
are not there. The colored background of the template takes up the entire
slide. He can see the header and logo in print preview and in the slide show
view, but not in Normal view when he is building individual slides. Any
ideas?

On the tool bar, there should be a little window with a percentage in it have
them click on it and select "fit" and see what happens
