Power Point Problems

I am trying to add music to my Power Point Presentation. I am working on a slideshow for a party. I am able to insert the soundtrack from Movies and Sound; however, it will only play on the first slide.

I want to be able to have the slides change automatically with the music playing continuously. Can you help?

Hi Sue!
I think you will find just what you are looking for in this PPT FAQ entry:

What you are trying to accomplish is very easy. Click on the first slide in your presentation. Assuming you've already inserted a music track to that slide click on "Slide Show". Choose "Custom animations". When the Custom Animation window opens on the right side of your screen click on the soundtrack that you assigned to that slide. Click on the drop down arrow. Choose "Timing" and then "Effect". Check the box that says, "Stop playing after:" and then fill in the number of slides in your show. Happy viewing
