Power Point Presentation with Music

I have created a 23 slide Power Point Presentation and
want to put background music with it. That is to say
continuously playing the same sound track through the
entire presentation. I am running Windows XP on a SONY
310RS desktop computer. I know how to put music with one
specific slide but when I ask for music on more than one
slide the music starts over again with each new slide.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
