power point no longer opens and edits embedded/ linked chartsHELP

my power point has stopped editing objects inserted/pasted like excel charts.
brings up a message.. this feature is no longer functioning properly, and on
installing the application server it says can not find the application
server, or source file or item. Please help.

If you're using Symantec/Norton AntiVirus, try disabling the
