Inserted AVi clip into slide. When I play the screen is black but you hear
the sound? What can be done to fix?

Are you running the presentation on a notebook?
Do you have both the notebook screen and the projector running
simultaneously ?

Most notebooks do not have the capability in their graphics chipset to run
both outputs together when playing movies. Easy solution is to only enable
the video output to the projector.

Running it on desktop. no projector. Just previewing on the desktop screen.
An still image appears, but when I click on it the computer screen goes
black and you hear the sound track of the video.

Thanks for site. I didn't explain myself clear enough. I wasn't using a
projector.
I was putting together a slide show and added some 15 seconds clips to some
slides. When I went to preview the show when the slide with witht eh video
came up there was a still image of the first scene of the video. When I
clicked on the image ton my desktop computer screen the image faded to black
and all you hear is the sound track after the 15 seocnds the initial image
reappears.

clarification. When previewing the slide with the movie clip a still image
of the first picture of the clip appears, but when I click on it to start the
movie the slide window goes black and all you hear is the sound track of the
clip after the 15 second clip, the first image reappears.
