Power Point 2003 not reading ppts made on 2000?

PP 2003, which I installed today (12 February 2005), is not reading some
presentations that were set in PP 2000 & 1997. Can anyone help me? Thank
you.

Please update to sp1. This problem is fixed in sp1.

Can you explain upgrading to SP1? I am having the same issue and using OS XP
Pro which is SP1

Update your Office 2003 to SP1, not Windows updates. Check out the

Start PowerPoint 2003, Help-> Check for updates,
redirect to

http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/officeupdate/default.aspx

Click Check for updates
Then wait... Choose Agree and start installation,
this will install office 2003 service pack 1
