Power Options

I would like my monitor to Never turn off or go into
Standby mode. I have this set as a power scheme
Turn off monitor: Never
Turn off hard disks: never
System Standby: Never

And my monitor still goes into standby mode. I am using
XP Pro on a compaq with the most updated bios version.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

check to see if the monitor switchoff is a function of
your monitor, rather than something windows is doing.
also check to see if you have a screen saver that shuts
off your monitor after a certain amt. of time, despite
your power scheme.
