Power Options

Can anybody tell me how to change the power options for a
guest user. I use XP Home edition. If I try do it while
logged on as Guest User I receive "access denied". Yet I
cannot find a way to do it while logged on as an
administrator.....Thanks

Have you tried to change the Guest to Administrator, make
changes and revert back?

Hello Jim,

Power options can only be configured by the administrator, so you will have
to make the Guest an admin, make the settings and then remove the Guest
form the admin group. For new users you can refer to the following KB
articles so that it is setup automatically -
