I am using a Gateway M405. I used Reg-seeker to clean-up my startup programs
and some un-used items in my registry. After doign this I no longer had the
power meter showing in my system tray. I have gone into the power management
and selected that the battery meter be displayed in the system tray. The
batteyr meter did not display, I do get critical battery notifications, but
no power meter.
I went into reg-seeker and restores all the changed I had made, I still have
no battery meter.
Does anyone know where else I need to look.

Hey
Try to set critical notification as high as you can,
that way even that your battery is at 100%,
it will show the icon stating its level.
Good Luck

I have the same problem on my Sony Vaio T2XP/L. I have not hoever run
anything that would mess with the registry, yet keep losing a great number of
icons from the sys tray and no amount of playing with eh taskbar options
(reset etc) seems to help.

The power bar is however the most annoying loss and nothing seems to bring
it back.
