Power managemnet software?

Hi,

I was wondering if someone can help me out! I had a Toshiba laptop for a
year and it had a nice piece of software on it for power management! You can
use it to set different power profiles easily and control the speed of the
CPU and display brightness. I just got a new HP laptop and unfortunately it
does not have such a program! I have to use the windows power management
utility which is not good enough. Can some one direct me to a software
similar to the Toshiba utility that I can download or Purchase! TIA and I
appreciate your help greatly!

Toshiba Power Control features ...mostly it's a windows software interface
to the system bios. Not familiar with your HP but perhaps if you look in
the hp bios you will find some of the settings you desire.
