Power management

Hi
My power management setting is:
Everything = 'never' except System Hibernates = 'After 30 mins'
However, after 30 mins, the system goes into standby.
Does anyone know why this is?
I am not logged on as an Administrator. I am using Win XP.
Thanks

it is not a problem, chill out and relax. Hibernate means StandBY if u are
not shutting it down.

Hi
Thanks. As far as I am aware, StandBy keeps power on so that when you
depress a key, the pc responds. Hibernate writes what's on the desktop to the
hard drive and turns the PC off. I want the latter.
Sorry about the multiple messages. The message appeared mutliple times
because I got a message saying the message wasn't sent, when it actually
was....

Yes bud there is problem I think, because changed power optioms are valid
only for current profile. So if administrator want to change power setting
for profiles of users who are members only of group USERS it sin't possible.
Is there somebody who knows how to solve the problem?
In a givven case I wanted to make harddisks don't turn of for all profiles
in a computer.
