Power Management tab has disappeared

Hi there,
does anyone know why the Power Management tab of a device
would not be shown? I have been having trouble with a wireless adapter keep
disconnecting. So I tried turning off the Allow Windows to turn off this
device checkbox, only to find that it turns itself back on. However, the
last time I tried to check the setting, I found that the Power Management
tab is not available. What's going on here?

I lost mine after installing PowerChute Personal Edition. Didn't come back
after uninstall.
