Posting new site to host

Dagmar

I have just completed my 1st web site in FP 2003 and posted to a web host.
When I open to view on the web, there only those red x's where my logo should
be and the theme is also not displayed. I used the FTP to transfer my files
to the host which supports FP. Do I have to transfer directly from FP and
should I remove from host and re-load to host?

You haven't uploaded the graphics, that is why they don't show.
Since the server supports the FP extensions, you should not FTP your
files but use the Publish feature in FP. That way all relevant files
will be uploaded.

Thank you for the input. Do I then need to remove the files that are in the
web host and re-load or is there a way to add the missing graphics?

Just wanted to thank you for the input and helping to confirm that my
attempts were correct. I think maybe sometimes a host which also provides
tools for creating a web site is a little slow to help those of us who have
used FP. After a little friendly 'persuasion' over the phone with our host's
customer service rep, the site was up and running correctly within 30
minutes. It was great to know it wasn't all my fault :) Many thanks!!
