Posting messages to websites - how can I retrieve what I have writ

When I send an email using a website's own 'message' link (like this popup
that I'm now using); I usually copy and paste, and save, what I have written
into Wordpad or similar so that I have a copy of what I have said for any
future reference.

However, sometimes I forget and SEND or POST the message. Is there any way
I can search and get a copy of what I have written, does anyone know please?

If it's an email, and there is no reply with your text quoted, no, there
isn't; it's gone. You could avoid this by not using web mail clients, but
instead using something like Outlook Express to send mail to the site.
However, this will disclose your email address. If the site doesn't give
you an email address to send to, that would also be a limitation.

If it's a newsgroup message, simply go to the newsgroup and locate your
message. You can probably find it via Google Groups.

Yes, I generally use Outlook Express for sending/receiving emails but
yesterday I replied to the BBC (re. correcting a minor misrepresented
article). There was no email address to reply to so I posted my message in
haste and forgot to copy and paste as I normally would.

I don't quite understand how I could find my posted message within Google
Newgroups but thanks Patrick for your input anyway and I will do some
searches and see what, if anything, I can find.

I currently only have access to "microsoft.public.outlookexpress.general"
via O.E. Perhaps I need to add other 'MAIL' groups to my Inbox!
