POSSIBLE TO SHARE CALENDARS BETWEEN OUTLOOK 2000 & 2003?

Hello,

We're trying to share a calendar that is on Outlook 2000 (SP-3
9.0.0.6627) with other users using Outlook 2003. Is that possible to
do across versions?

We go to FILE --> SHARE --> CALENDAR and then the Outlook 2000 computer
sends out an invitation to the 2003 machines. But when the 2003 users
get the invitation, Outlook tells them that they need to install Net
Folders. However, there does not seem to be any "Net Folders" feature
to install on Outlook 2003 (unless it is buried somewhere).

The one other user who also has Outlook 2000 is able to share the
calendar. However, another quirk is that all of the entries on the
calendar have suddenly triplicated themselves. In other words, there
are suddenly 3 entries of the same event on each day.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Patricia,

Thank you for your response. What would you suggest we do to share
calendars? We're a pretty small group, but here's whats involved:

IN THE OFFICE:
A Sales Dept. Secretary who is the primary maintainer of the clendar.
She has an XP Pro machine with Office 2000 SP-3 9.0.0.6627.

The Sales Manager has an XP Pro laptop with Office 2003.

An Inside Salesman with an XP Pro desktop and Office 2003.

Another Inside Salesman with Windows 98 and Office 2000 (same version
as secretary).

REMOTE:
Then there are 4 salesmen in the field with XP Pro laptops and Office
2003.

We don't have a very big budget and the project is not very mission
critical. I doubt that higher management would spend much money on it.

If you could point us in the right direction, that would be very much
appreciated.

Thanks

- Marc
