Possible to delete mail before it arrives

Any filters set up in Outlook 2002 apply only after the mail arrives.
Is there a way to delete mail aka spam before it downloads?

No, Outlook rules act on mail after it hits the in-box.

Swen virus, all e-mails sent to my actual account will be deleted w/out

The only way to delete it before it "arrives" (to Outlook) is to delete it
in your company's server or at your ISP server.

I have many rules set up in my ISP account that automatically filter and
delete things at the ISP level before they get to the Outlook level.

Check with your admin (if a corporate account) or with your ISP...
