possible Swen worm?

Mulitple emails of the same message have been sent to at
least 3 of my friends - messages that I did not send them
yesterday or today.
In researching this, it seems I may have the Swen
virus/worm. Am trying to download a patch from
Microsoft, but I don't know which patch to download.

I have Windows XP. Can someone help me to know which
patch to download and where I can find it?

Click your Start button/click Windows Update. If that doesn't get you there.
Open Internet Explorer/click Tools/Windows Update. You don't need to know any more.
Follow the instructions and click the Scan for Updates button. The process will tell
you what you need.
If you want to know: Open Internet Explorer/click Help/click About Internet
Explorer. A window should pop-up telling you what version you have.
