I would like to keep some track on what's happening in /at my ports. Had
lot's of scans of my computer last months. Also some strange crashes.

Is there any application that handles this without other disturbance?

Get a DOS prompt and type: netstat -a 10

That will give you your ports and their status every 10 seconds. I've made
a shortcut and placed it in my Start folder. Then I play it while surfing,
whenever I want to troubleshoot.

There are other command switches you can use to give you other info.
