Port 80 HTTP Open Insecure

I have both a hardwired PC(Win98) and a wireless laptop(XP) connected to a
new Belkin Wireless router. On initial setup, there were a few problems so
I called their TECH support. I had previously installed/uninstalled SP2 and
am using CA EZ trust AV & FW from a CD that MS sent me. It was working
fine. After setting up the router, the Belkin Tech said to disable or
uninstall the EZ Trust Firewall as "the router will be your firewall". I
shut down the EZT FW but later did a port scan (hackerwatch.org) and
instead of all ports being GREEN: "Secure- This port is invisible to the
outside world",as it was previously, now Port 80 HTTP says : "RED
Insecure" Unless youre using this port as a webserver it is open to
misuse....something like that anyway. I called Belkin back and
anotherTechie said the router was the Firewall..to forget the new RED
warning. Should I leave the EZT FW off. Belkin says it will adversely
affect the router/connections. Its doing the same on both computers. Should
I keep the EZ Trust FW off or not?

I would enable the firewall and see how it works. I have a Westell
modem/router with a firewall built in and also use Zone Alarm with no
problems.
