port 2112

Hi All,

What's port 2112 KIP? I use nmap to scan 1 of our Windows server and I
saw this port. I tried to telnet to the server using the port and it
turned out to be an FTP server. Any ideas?

I would run TCPView on that server to see what application process is using that port
and if it is legitimate or not. Process Explorer can display more information about
the process if you look at properties. Both are free utilities from
ysInternals. --- Steve
