I have a desktop HP Media Center Model #854n. For several months, whenever I
boot up, I keep getting a popup usu;ally twice, saying: HP Instant Support:
There are messages waiting for you. Double click this icon to view.
After clicking, 'I get a Help&Supprt page which has a large X in a red
circle and says: Cannot display this page. This popup is annoying and I like
to delete it permantly. Any suggestions? Thanks.

If I am not mistaken I think this program requires an instance of Backweb to
be running in order to view it and you might have denied such a program with
your firewall, which is a good thing for spyware reasons.
You can look in the startup tab of system configuration utility and see if
you can locate it and disable it from running at startup.
To access System Configuration Utility:
Start>Run>(type) msconfig (enter)>Startup Tab
