Tweak UI is a space hogging waste of time.
Complete and utter nonsense.
First of all, TweakUI uses exactly 266,360 bytes. Calling the use
of that amount of disk space--far less than a single penny's
worth--"space hogging" is simply ludicrous.
Second, using TweakUI is not a "waste of time," but almost always
the *fastest* and easiest possible way to do something.
All the tweaks done in
here can be done by yourself without the need of wasting space by
adding another program.
It is absolutely true that everything that TweakUI does can be
done without it. But is also true that almost everything it does
can be done much more easily and more safely with it.
TweakUI is a a tool. Like other tools, it doesn't do everything,
and what it does can also be done in other ways. You can often
remove a screw with a kitchen knife, but it's a much poorer tool
for the purpose than a screwdriver; Like TweakUI, a screwdriver
is much easier and much safer to use.
Unless you're lazy and don't
want to know how to make your own changes to your OS. In that case I
suppose Tweak User Interface is helpful. Good luck.
It is absurd to use the term "lazy" for using a tool that makes
it easier and safer to do something. It is foolhardy not to use
such a tool. TweakUI should be in everyone's arsenal of tools.
