Popup window blocked?

Am trying to get into a game and am getting a message
saying that the popup window is blocked. Have gone through
and deleted any programs which I think might contain popup
blockers but are there any file extensions I can look for
to make sure that they're all gone? Other popup windows -
such as ads - appear regularly.

Did you check your firewall and anti-virus for an option to block popups or
scripts?
The Google toolbar can block popups.
Did you make sure your IE security options allow scripting?
