John

I have two popup windows at startup for some search
engine named Search-Aide. I cannot find any application
installed that could be loading them. I cannot find a
listing for the address www.search-aide.com/search.html
in the registry. I just don't know where these windows
are loading from. They pop up during the start up phase
before my DSL connection even connects. They sit with a
page cannot be displayed error until the connection
completes then they show their search-aide page. Can
anyone help me get rid of these popups? Please, Please,
Please help.

Hi John,

Go to Start/Run and type in: msconfig. Go to the Startup Tab and uncheck
accordingly. Then run this script to remove the disabled items from the
registry.

Or...remove the runkeys from here: Start/Run/Regedit
