I have left this message twice and days have passed and no answers... doesn't
anyone know the answer to this how to stretch the box when it refuses to
re-size?

I work on a site that uses popup to display car pictures... so on my explore
all the pictures are cut off on the side and never were before... I never
changed anything... this worked perfectly last week now it's screwed up... if
I go on any other computer the pictures display properly and are not cut off
on the side like mine...

Now with the popup when it comes up there is a bar at the bottom and it
appears that you could resize it the arrow is there but it will not allow the
box to get bigger. This is very annoying because it works on everyone else's
but not mine???

So it's not a problem with the page I made it is a problwem with the
explorer 6 setting...

please help me this is so frustrating....

This is probably just a tempoary fix but press F11 while the window you want
to resize is selected.

Hi bob thanks for the reply... I tried it and it does release the box when I
press f11 twice and let me resize when I do that but then when I close it it
goes back so it is only a temproary fix... this shouldn't be happening, why
doesn't it let me re-size and stay that way? It was always the right size now
it is screwed up there must be a way to fix this permanently... what is wrong
with this Explorer????

One possible difference which could account for the symptom is in the Options,
Advanced tab, Multimedia section: Enable Automatic Image Resizing
Also check with your mouse in the lower right corner on the machines which "work"
to see if the image resize icon pops up on them.

I'm not sure if that is one of the undocumented (Requires restart) options or not.
If it doesn't seem to help, close all IE windows and verify that iexplore.exe is
no longer running (e.g. with Task Manager's Processes tab) and retest
before changing the option back. BTW even if is already checked it may be worthwhile
to toggle it off and on (with tests to confirm that the changes are having an effect).

Now with the popup when it comes up there is a bar at the bottom and it

FYI The presence of a scrollbar doesn't imply that the window is resizable.
Tip: use Alt-Space to find out what window commands are possible on it.
E.g. if everything but Close is greyed or more particularly if Size is greyed
you would have an explanation for why you are stuck with that size of window.
The fact that you can use F11 (and probably Ctrl-N) are fortunately independent
of those lack of choices, which were forced by the web page designer.
