Popup Blocker

I upgraded my Norton Antivius system using Symantec 2004 and now I am having
repeated cases of popups. I had to uninstall the popup blocker because I kept
getting a notice on my computer saying that "Symantic Norton Antivirus" was
not operating properly because all the components were not there and then it
gave me a sight to go to. It said on the sight if I saw the numbers that were
to listed to click on the signt. I really did not understand the directions.
Is there a popup blocker program that will stop the popups that is compatible
with the antivirus program?

No idea about Norton AV as I use AVG. I assume that you use Internet
Explorer. Mozilla FireFox, http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/ ,
has a built popup blocker, also an image blocker that can be useful at
time!

I have Norton AV Professional and also use Ad-Aware and SpyBot Search and
Destroy. They help protect you from adware and spyware, and you should be
diligent about keeping them updated and run. Also be very careful about
downloading free programs.
